- The presently 60 Intake of the department.
- The intake likely to be increased up to 120 in coming years.
- To make industry felt institute presence by providing young, earnest and competent engineers.
- To undertake project which are of relevant to the society & mankind.
- To serve the adjoining community by implementing mechanical know how in routine work to simplify life.
- Optimum utilization of recourses by the tools of mechanical engineering.
- To develop the institute in the centre of excellence by providing practical education by implementing innovative teaching methodology. Scaling new heights in the field of R&D by providing consultancy in the projects of societal welfare by involving students in them.
